Officials hope the commission allows LGBTQIA+ communities to have "direct input" into county governance.
NORRISTOWN, PA — Montgomery County has launched its first ever Commission For LGBTQIA+ Affairs, a body that will advise the county on issues, services, and potential new programs and initiatives to improve the quality of life for individuals in that community.

Winder said in a statement. “We want to ensure that our LGBTQIA+ residents, businesses, and allies have their voices heard at the County level."
