New 'Escape Game' Opens First PA Location In King Of Prussia

Organizers point to the game's in-depth set design and storylines: "You almost forget that there is a world outside of the room."

KING OF PRUSSIA, PA — A new interactive game experience has opened up its first Pennsylvania location in King of Prussia.

The Escape Game, located at 160 N. Gulph Road, offers 60-minute adventures inside a world of in-depth detail and intricate design. Organizers point to the game's in-depth set design and storylines.

"Our adventures are so enchanting, you almost forget that there is a world outside of the room and a task at hand," Max Magura, the marketing manager for Escape Game, said in a statement. "You almost forget that there is a world outside of the room. Think Star Wars, no sudoku."

There are four separate adventures to choose from. In Gold Rush, you have to find hidden gold before the mob. In Prison Break, you have to try to break out prison before the warden checks in in an hour. In The Heist, you're charged with stealing back a piece of art. And in Playground, you need to retrieve a final report card to make it to a kickball tournament in time.

Based in Nashville, Tennessee, Escape Game bills itself as one of the nation's first escape room-styled companies, and says they've received the top ranking on TripAdvisor's national escape room list.

Including King of Prussia, there are 15 locations around the nation.
