New Ranking Of Montgomery County School Districts Released
Here's how every school district in Montgomery County stacks up.
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — A new ranking of all school districts in Montgomery County has been published, giving local families and residents another insight onto how schools in the area stack up.
The rankings for the 2020-21 school year were put together by the data compiler Niche, which measured a wide variety of categories including academics, diversity, teachers, college prep, clubs and activities, health and safety, administration, sports, food, and facilities.
Lower Merion School District led all of Montgomery County in the latest list, earning an a "A+" overall mark. All of the top eight schools in the county earned an "A+."

Niche used data from the U.S. Department of Education as well as test scores, college data, and ratings collected from Niche users, to score districts. (You can read more about the methodology here.)
