New Restaurant To Take Over Taphouse 23 Location In Bridgeport

The owners of the Blue Bell Inn will open a new "contemporary American restaurant with global inspiration."

BRIDGEPORT, PA — A new restaurant is coming to Bridgeport from the owners of the historic Blue Bell Inn.

The new eatery, which has not yet been named, will open up at location that formerly housed Taphouse 23, at 266 E. 4th Street.

"We know how much this location means to the community, and while we’re bringing a fresh vision to the building, we look forward to maintaining it as a go-to gathering spot for the neighborhood," a spokesperson for 1743 Hospitality, the ownership group behind the restaurants, shared in a statement.
