NORRISTOWN, PA -- Schools in Montgomery County, including the Norristown Area School District, have not yet made a decision on delays or closings as of about 2 p.m. Sunday.
In Facebook post on Friday, on the eve of the storm, the school district wrote an update that suggested there would be closures.
“I wonder if there will be school on Monday. Doesn’t look promising! What do you think?”

Many borough streets remained unplowed on Saturday evening and into Sunday morning as crews struggled to keep up with the torrential downfall of snow.
Norristown was one of the hardest hit areas of Montgomery County, receiving at least 25 inches of snow, with some residents measuring more at the apex of the storm.
