KOP Nordstrom's Robber Breaks Hip Of Shopper, Steals $2.6K In Clothes: PD
In the midst of a furious escape attempt with her haul, the woman slammed into an elderly shopper trying to enter the store, police said.
UPPER MERION, PA — A woman has been charged with robbery after seriously injuring an elderly bystander during her escape attempt from Nordstrom's at the King of Prussia Mall.
The incident occurred on Jan. 17 at around 3:45 p.m.
The woman, who was not identified by Upper Merion police, collected a pile of clothing worth $2,600 and broke past loss prevention officers to flee the store, police said.

As she exited, she slammed into a 70-year-old woman who was trying to enter the Nordstorm's, sending her flying and breaking her hip, among other injuries, authorities said.
Authorities arrested the robber shortly thereafter. In addition to the stolen goods from Nordstrom's, she had numerous substances and pills for which she had no prescription, police said.

She faces counts of simple assault, robbery, and related charges, and was booked at Montgomery County Correctional Facility. A preliminary hearing is forthcoming.
The victim, meanwhile, was treated for her injuries at Paoli Hospital.
