NORRISTOWN, PA — The 4th of July fireworks schedule for Norristown is here.
Festivities will begin at 8:30 a.m. with the 9th Annual Celebration 5k at Norristown Area High School. Registration will begin at 7 a.m. and costs $25.
The parade will begin at Dekalb Street and Airy Street at 10 a.m. on July 4. It will cross the borough and eventually end at Elmwood Park. Take a look at the route from 2016.

Celebrations will take place throughout Elmwood Park throughout the day, beginning at 11:30 a.m. Live music, a beer garden, spirits from Five Saints Distillery, a clown, cartoonist, pole amusements, dunk tank, arts and crafts, and much more will highlight the afternoon.

In addition, Elmwood Park Zoo is offering discounted $4 admission all day.
The fireworks will take place at 9 p.m. in the park.
