Norristown Council President Resigns Due To Leaving Home: Report
She reportedly resigned rather than face a public hearing.

Norristown Council President Linda Christian resigned her post on Thursday after it was revealed that she had moved out of her district earlier in the year, according to a Times Herald report.
All elected officials must reside permanently in the area which they represent.
After Christian was caught living elsewhere - she moved in July - she could have been removed from office via a public hearing if she had not resigned, the report states.

She said she’d beenl iving in her Fornance Street home for 21 years but declined to say where she moved, although she said it was still in the borough, the report states.
