Norristown Elementary Schools Dismiss Early Tuesday

NORRISTOWN, PA — Norristown will dismiss its elementary schools an hour early on Tuesday, at 2:20 p.m., due to the forecasted winter weather.

Several local districts, including neighboring Spring-Ford, chose to dismiss two hours or more early. Others, like Phoenixville and West Chester, remained fully open.

A few inches of snow are possible in the area, with rain likely turning to snow at some point in the afternoon before frigid temperatures set in.

After school programs, activities, and sports team meetings are cancelled Tuesday at Norristown.
