The Death and Rebirth of the Schuylkill River
The Conshohocken Brewing Company and Five Saints Distilling will be on hand at this unique historical program all about the Schuylkill River

NORRISTOWN, PA -- The Death and Rebirth of the Schuylkill River, a unique event tracing the river's history and recent rehabilitation, will take place on Friday, January 20 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The Conshohocken Brewing Company and Five Saints Distilling will be on hand for a "spirits tasting" before the history program. The event is organized by the Schuylkill River Town Program. They have the following to say about the evening:
"A fact and fun-filled program about the Schuylkill River – from its role as lifeblood of the Industrial Revolution and the “workshop of the world”, to a fiery open sewer, and finally to its recent rebirth as 2014 River of the Year and home to bald eagle and shad. Learn the incredible story of how the river has shaped our community and the nation."

The event will take place at the Centre Theater on 208 Dekalb Street.
The spirits sampling is from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. The history program begins at 6:15 p.m. Entry is free.
