Norristown Fire Department To Deliver 100 Free Thanksgiving Dinners
The annual tradition to help local families in need continues.
NORRISTOWN, PA — The Norristown Fire Department will continue one of its annual holiday traditions that has become iconic in the area.
Roughly 100 Norristown famillies in need will be given free, full Thanksgiving dinners this year, the fire department said.
“The Fire Department looks for opportunities to give back. It’s an initiative we hold close to our hearts,” Fire Chief Tom O’Donnell said.

Some meals will be delivered directly to family homes, while others can be picked up by families in need at a local firehouse or school. Pickups and deliveries will begin Nov. 21.
