Norristown Fire Department Gets Lifesaving Equipment For Pets

The Norristown Fire Department is getting some special equipment.

The department recently announced that the Fetch Foundation has donated FIDO Bags, giving them even more tools to help pets in need.

FIDO Bags include lifesaving tools specially designed to give medical attention to dogs, cats, and other pets at the point of rescue.

“Our firefighters now have the tools to save ALL members of the family,” the department said on Facebook.

The Arizona-based Fetch Foundation works to save animal lives through innovative strategies that equip and train first responders.
