The Norristown girls 4x100 relay team won their heat Thursday afternoon in the large schools division.
The team split 48.43, besting second place Rancocas (NJ) by nearly 3 seconds, a huge margin in such a short race.
They are now qualified for the final of the race, scheduled for Friday at 2:22 p.m.
