Norristown Giving Out Free Window, Door Alarms At Safety Meetings

NORRISTOWN, PA — Norristown residents can receive free alarms for their windows and doors if they attend one of the police department's monthly safety meetings.

The "CompStat" meetings bring together residents, visitors, business owners, and other stakeholders to address ongoing community concerns and to implement crime reduction efforts.

The free alarms and sensors will be distributed at the meetings.

"Our goal is to educate you on crime in your area, assist you with partnering with NPD, and help to keep you and your family safe," police said in a statement.
