Norristown Holds Remote Learning Day Due To Snow
The snowy weather led Norristown to keep students at home on Monday.

NORRISTOWN, PA — The snowy weather led the Norristown School District to declare a remote learning day on Monday, Jan. 6.
The virtual instruction day covered all Norristown schools.
"Due to inclement weather, NASD schools and offices will be closed tomorrow, Monday, January 6," the district said in a statement. "However, learning will continue through a Flexible Instructional Day (FID). Students and staff will follow a Virtual Instruction Day schedule, which includes live synchronous instruction in the morning and independent asynchronous assignments in the afternoon."

Norristown was among a large number of local districts that declared a virtual instruction day Monday, including neighboring Colonial, North Penn, Wissahickon, and others.
