Norristown HS Grad, Class of 1947, Korean War Vet, Passes At 87
Norristown's Truxton S. Musselman was married to his wife for 64 years.

NORRISTOWN, PA -- Truxton (Pete) S. Musselman, born July 23, 1929, in Norristown, PA, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 9, 2016. He was the son of the late Percy A. and Mary S. Musselman. Married 64 years to Shirley E. Tinkler, his "girlfriend and nurse", were blessed with three children, 13 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Survived by a son, Dr. Kirk Musselman (Joan) of Pittsburgh; daughter, Cindy Brandon (Mike) of Maryland; Holly Davis of Texas.

Pete's favorite day was Thanksgiving when the family was together at Kirk and Joan's with two big turkeys for dinner, thanking the Lord for the many blessings they had.
He graduated from Norristown High School Class of '47, Perkiomen Prep '49. Pete was a construction electrician PA certified, a member of Local Union 380, former Vice President, and a superintendent for Henkels and McCoy. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War. Loving the outdoors, he enjoyed canoeing, hunting, fishing, and managed West Norriton Little League.

Pete belonged to Valley Forge Baptist Temple under Dr. Scott Wendell and pastoral staff, the Senior Saints Sunday School class with our devoted teacher Dave Davis and wife, Ellen.
He loved his wife, children, and grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held in Pete's honor on Monday November 14, at 11 AM at Valley Forge Baptist Temple 616 Trappe Rd. Collegeville, PA. Interment will be private.
