Norristown Man, Meth Dealer, Sentenced To 19 Years In Prison
The local man will head to federal prison after an investigation led by the DEA.
NORRISTOWN, PA — A Norristown man who officials say planned to orchestrate sales of large quantities of methamphetamine in central Pennsylvania has been sentenced to prison.
Tylee Brown, 39, will spend the next 19 years behind bars, U.S. District Court Judge Robert D. Mariani ruled this week, according to court documents.
Brown had previously pled guilty, back on Oct. 3, 2023, to possession with intent to distribute more than 500 grams of methamphetamine.

Brown admitted to the court that he had driven from Norristown out to Susquehanna County, where he planned to sell the "high quality" crystal meth in April 2020.
On April 30, state troopers were investigating the reports of several stolen snowmobiles at a home in a remote location off Lake Roy Road in Franklin Township.

While state troopers were on the scene, a black pick up truck drove up to the driveway, saw the police and attempted to do a three point turn to immediately leave, according to court documents.
However, the vehicle became stuck, and Brown, who was the passenger, got out to try to push it free, officials said.
When police noticed the vehicle attempting to leave, they drove down the driveway toward it, and that's when Brown fled into the woods, court documents state.
Brown fled 100 or 200 yards before he was arrested without incident. Police later used a K9 unit and found the bricks of meth in a bag inside the truck.
Pennsylvania State Police and the Drug Enforcement Administration worked together on the case as part of Project Safe Neighborhoods, a cooperative effort between multiple levels of law enforcement to limit violent crime.
