Norristown Man Most Wanted, Failed To Show Up To Jail: Sheriff

A Norristown man failed to show up for his jail sentence this week, landing him on the most wanted list, the sheriff's office said.

NORRISTOWN, PA — A Norristown man failed to show up for his jail sentence this week, landing him on Montgomery County's most wanted list, the sheriff's office said.

William Brian Arthur, 31, was convicted of multiple charges, including terroristic threats, simple assault, possession of an instrument of crime, and illegal possession of a firearm.

Arthur was supposed to report to jail to begin his sentence on April 1. He received credit for time served prior to his sentencing, and had 243 days left behind bars, according to court documents.

He has last known local addresses of the 500 block of Brandon Road and the 200 block of East Elm Street in Norristown.

He also formerly resided on the 400 block of Glenside Avenue in Glenside, authorities said.

He had been free on $5,000 bail since Nov. 13, 2018, according to court documents.
