Norristown Man Shot In The Back On The Way To Late Night Snack: Report
The victim was reportedly on the way to a fast food restaurant early Monday morning when he was mysteriously shot.

A man was reportedly shot in the back near Corson Street and Blackberry Alley in the early morning hours on Monday.
The victim, a 29-year-old man from Norristown, was taken to Paoli Hospital where he is now stable following surgery, reports state.
Officers found the victim near the 600 block of Astor Street at a relative’s house, the Times Herald reports. A resident was holding his hand over the gunshot wound.

The victim said he was heading to Crown Fried Chicken on West Marshall Street when he encountered the suspect, who had the hood of a gray sweatshirt pulled over his face.
The suspect said, “Stop, don’t move,” and asked the victim if he recognized his voice. The victim said no, then started to run away, and that’s when he was shot, according to the report.

Witnesses reportedly heard two shots, although the victim said there was only one.
