Norristown Man, US Army Veteran, Passes At 81

May he rest in peace.

NORRISTOWN, PA -- Cortland T. McKeon, age 81, husband of Linda R. (Hyden) McKeon, of Norristown, PA, died Saturday, December 31, 2016 in Seasons Hospice at Phoenixville Hospital.

Born on August 23, 1935 in West Conshohocken, PA, he was a son of the late Gerald and Florence (Pointsette) McKeon. A veteran, he served for the U.S. Army. Mr. McKeon worked in the warehouse for Fleming Foods, Oaks, PA before retiring.

He is survived by Two Sons: Scott C., husband of Denise McKeon of West Chester, PA, G. Timothy, husband of Heather McKeon of Newtown Square, PA; Daughter-in-Law: Carol McKeon, wife of the late Jeffrey D. McKeon of Drexel Hill, PA; Step-Son, James P. Higgins of Norristown, PA; Step-Daughter, Dawn M., wife of Michael Dillon of Phoenixville, PA; Sister, Yonnie, wife of the late Lawrence S'Bei of Audubon, PA; Two Brothers, James, husband of Kimberly McKeon of Reading, PA and Paul, husband of Martha McKeon of CA; grandchildren: Danielle, Madison, Michael, Morgan, Trevor, Tyler, and Josh. He was also pre-deceased by: Son, Cortland T. McKeon, Jr., Son, Jeffrey D. McKeon, Daughter, Kimberly J. McKeon, Sister, Geraldine Klausman.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Ceremony at Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc, 610 South Main Street, Phoenixville, PA on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at 11:00 am. Burial will be held in the Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA. Friends will be received from 10:00 am - 11:00 am Thursday at Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc.
