Norristown Officers Represent Police At Spartan World Championships

Well done, officers.

Two Norristown officers represented the police department at the recent Spartan Race World Championships in Lake Tahoe, California.

Corporal David Stowell 37, placed 1219th overall with a time of 6:01:38 for the course.

Corporal Adam Schurr, 47, meanwhile, finished in a time of 6:06:01, good for 1333rd in the race.

The event was won by 33-year-old Robert KIllian in 2:25:55.

The race was in the “Beast” category, the hardest and longest of all Spartan races. It is over 12 miles long and includes more than 30 obstacles.
