Norristown Plans New Fourth Of July Block Party, Parade Route

Norristown has revamped their Fourth of July celebrations to include a block party with a beer garden, live music, a kids zone, and more.

NORRISTOWN, PA — Norristown has revamped their Fourth of July celebrations to include a block party, new parade route, fireworks, and more.

Things will kick off at 9:30 a.m. on the State Hospital grounds at Sterigere Street and Stanbridge Street.

The parade will progress from there, going to Marshall before swinging onto Main Street.

On Main Street, a full block party will be set up, including live music, a beer garden, kids activity zone, local vendors, and more.

By around 2:30 p.m., the party will begin shifting over to Harding Boulevard for the traditional concert at Elmwood Park. More live music, concessions, and other entertainment will highlight the evening leading up to the fireworks celebration at dusk.
