Norristown Police Station Mostly Closed To Public
Increased construction in the area led officials to the decision.
NORRISTOWN, PA — Public access to the Norristown police station will be mostly restricted to essential personnel as construction gets underway in the area.
Addditional work is occurring at Norristown Muncipal Hall at 235 E. Airy Street.
The restriction will go into place on Sept. 26. The public closure of the building is estimated by officials to last for about two months.

"We apologize for the inconvenience this is presenting, and hope to have more normalo perations resume as soon as possible," the municipality said.
Police reports should not be filed in person at the station, officials said, and if reports must be filed in person, that should be done at the Municipal Hall’s temporary administrative offices at 1700 Markley Street in Suite 104. Hours for those offices are 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
