Norristown Program: Everything You Ever Wanted To Know About Turkeys

The Thanksgiving event in the borough answers some difficult questions.

A program hosted by Norristown Farm Park aims to educate the public about the bird that has come to define one of the year’s biggest holidays.

Come on Monday, November 23, 2015 at 1:00pm to learn about the bird around which the Thanksgiving holiday revolves. Hear a turkey call, touch a turkey feather, and make a special turkey craft. What do turkeys eat? Take a short walk to look for their food and habitat. Meet at the park office.

This program is suitable for children ages three and older. There is a $5.00 fee per child. Preregistration is required. Please call 610-270-0215 to preregister. Meet at the park office.
