Norristown Sees Spike In Vandalism, Damage To Vehicles

Police are asking for the public's help in finding those responsible.

NORRISTOWN, PA — Norristown has seen a worrying and notable spike in vandalism and damage to vehicles in recent days, the police department announced Wednesday, putting out a call for help from the public in tracking down those responsible.

There have been eight vehicles that have had their windows broken during the overnight hours over the past week, according to Captain Richard Clowser, Norristown's Deputy Chief of Police.

A BB gun was the cause of the damage to three of them, police said.

The incidents have occurred on the west end of town. Police issued the following map noting locations:

Police believe the suspects may be traveling in a vehicle while committing the crimes, as much of the damage has been done to the street side of the vehicle windows.
