Norristown Student And Football Player Wins Art Contest
Great job by a hard-working Norristown kid.

NORRISTOWN, PA -- A Norristown Area High School student was honored recently as he won a contest put on by the local chapter of an international non-profit.
Zhafir Satterthwaite won first place for Links Incorporated's Eastern Area art contest: Healthy, Energetic, Active Lifestyles Matter-Make Health a Habit, the school district announced.
The Eastern Area is comprised of 76 chapters along the eastern seaboard.

Satterthwaite won $250 and an official certificate acknowledging his participation in the competition.
“Our Montgomery County Chapter of Links is very excited that our participant is a winner,” said Karen Hamilton, Links Montgomery County's representative.

Norristown Area High School hosted a celebration to honor Satterthwaite's achievement.
Satterthwaite is also a member of Norristown's football team.
