Norristown Student Gifted Instrument To Pursue Musical Dreams

Norristown eighth grader Mikey loves to play music. But she couldn't afford the instrument her heart desired.

NORRISTOWN, PA — Norristown eighth grader Miranda, who goes by Mikey, loves to play music. But she couldn't afford the instrument her heart desired.

Fortunately, the community took notice of her passion.

Expressive Path, a local nonprofit that works with Norristown children, provided Mikey with her own flute so that she can pursue her musical dreams when she heads to high school band next year.
