Norristown Track Stars Shine As Indoor Season Begins
A school record was broken and several athletes medaled.

NORRISTOWN, PA — A school record was broken and several athletes medaled as Norristown's speediest residents kicked off the indoor track season.
The event was the Track and Field Coaches Association of Greater Philadelphia's first meet of the year, held at Lehigh University's Rauch Fieldhouse.
Senior Jaden Brown earned gold in the boys 60 meter dash, tying the school record with a time of 6.90 and winning by a huge margin.

Sophomore Duante Bell came in third in the race, crossing in 7.30. He posted an even faster time of 7.26 in the preliminary round.
Cioni Flynn-Cook also took home a medal with an impressive performance in the girls 300m dash.

Dane Cook also took 7th in the 400 in 57.40.
The team's next event is the Delaware Valley Girls Track and Field Association's Meet #2 in Reading this Friday.
