Norristown Warns Of Aggressive PECO Phone Scam
Callers claim to work for PECO. They don't.

The Norristown Police Department is alerting the public of a scam that they have encountered throughout November.
Individuals who claim to work for PECO have been calling business owners and residents notifying them their power will be shut off unless they are wired money, police said.
The scammers state that the victim’s previous payments did not go through, according to police.
