Norristown's Dashawn Darden Named 'Honorable Mention' All-MAC

Congratulations to Norristown native Dashawn Darden, now with Delaware Valley University.

Norristown native and former Cardinal O'Hara high school football standout Dashawn Darden, now with Delaware Valley University, has been named an "honorable mention" for the 2016 All-MAC team.

Darden has started all 10 games at quarterback and has completed 124 of 220 passes for 1,793 yards and 16 touchdowns, according to statistics provided by the university.

Darden, a sophomore, has also been a threat to run, with 435 yards and eight scores on 97 carries.

A total of 18 Aggies were named to the All-Conference team.

Delaware Valley ended the 2016 regular season with an 8-2 overall record.
