Orienteering Adventure Coming Up In Norristown

NORRISTOWN, PA -- An orienteering adventure is coming up in Norristown.

Use a detailed map to navigate in the international sport of orienteering at Norristown Farm Park on Sunday, April 10 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

There is a level of this sport for all skill levels.

"It’s like a treasure hunt on foot," organziers say.

Instructors from the Delaware Valley Orienteering Association will give a lesson and then send participants out on a course.

There is a map fee of $6.00 per person. All ages are welcome. Preregistration is preferred. Please call 610-270-0215 to preregister.

Norristown Farm Park is located at Barley Sheaf Drive and Germantown Pike in East Norriton. The program will meet at the pavilions.
