Owner Of East Norriton Eatery Charged With Sex Assault: Report
The owner reportedly told the underage boy that he was "preparing" him for when he was with a woman.

EAST NORRITON, PA — The owner of an East Norriton business has been charged with sexually assaulting a underaged boy, according to officials and media reports.
Abraham Maman, owner of Roots Restaurant on Germantown Pike, began sexually abusing the victim in May of 2018, according to the Times Herald.
Maman reportedly touched the boy in the restaurant's office multiple times, even after the boy told him to stop. He also showed the boy explicit videos and offered the boy money in exchange for sexual activities, the report states.

In one case, Maman reportedly told the boy he was "preparing" him for when he would be with a woman.
Court documents indicate that Maman has been charged with involuntary deviate sexual intercourse by forcible compulsion, unlawful contact with a minor, child endangerment, and related counts.

Maman failed to post $500,000 bail and was taken to Montgomery County Correctional Facility. A preliminary hearing was held Tuesday.
