PA American Water Going Door To Door In Norristown
The company is hoping to find and eliminate lead pipes in the area, officials said.
NORRISTOWN, PA — Representatives from Pennsylvania American Water are gong to door to door this week as part of their inventory of the region's service lines.
Specifically, the company is looking to identify the remaining lead pipes in Norristown, as part of future replacement projects.
"Determining what material every customer's service line is made of - including the lines owned by them and not just by us - is a massive undertaking, and we're asking our customers to take this request seriously and please respond so we can act accordingly," Justin Ladner, the president of PA American Water, said in a statement.
