After a brutally frigid start to the week, the region is in for a dramatic turnaround. Latest forecast:
PHILADELPHIA, PA — The week may have started off with brutally frigid, typical February temperatures for the greater Philadelphia area, but that will soon be a thing of the past.
After an icy Monday in the teens and below for much of the area, a warm front is on the way that will spike temperatures all the way up to 63 by Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.
The abrupt warm front will bring with it gusting winds, with sustained blasts of 15 miles per hour and gusts up to 30 miles per hour, forecasters said.
