More Thunderstorms, Damaging Winds Possible In Philly Region: See Timeline

Hail and potentially damaging winds could pass through the region with the thunderstorms, the National Weather Service said.

PHILADELPHIA, PA — Thunderstorms and more rain are on the horizon for later this week in the greater Philadelphia region, as the late spring's wave of potentially severe weather continues.

While Wednesday will be mostly clear, temperatures will rise into the upper 80s in much of the region, according to forecasters.

The heat will preface a possibly stormy Thursday, as clouds and wind will move in during the day. There's a chance of thunderstorms during the day, and then again in the evening between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. Friday morning, the National Weather Service said.
