Rain Forecasted For Halloween, Phillies World Series Game 3
Trick or treating and the first World Series game in Philadelphia in 13 years could be threatened by rain, according to forecasts.
PHILADELPHIA, PA — A storm front could bring rain to the greater Philadelphia area on Halloween, potentially impacting both trick or treating and the first World Series game in Philadelphia in 13 years.
Rain is expected to hit between 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. next Monday night, the National Weather Service said. There's a 60 percent possibility of showers.
It's not yet clear if the showers will be continuous or intermittent, and projections of rainfall totals have not been made by forecasters.

"A total washout is not currently expected; however, if the disturbance responsible for the showers strengthens, it could lead to heavier rain that could force some towns to postpone or cancel Halloween festivities," AccuWeather said.
Game 3 of the World Series, the first Phillies home game in the series, is slated for 8:03 p.m. Monday night, so a rain delay of the game is a possibility depending on the severity of the storm.
