Wet Weather Chances This Week In Philly Area: Latest Forecast
Warmer weather is coming to the area, but not for long.

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The greater Philadelphia area has received a few significant winter storms in recent weeks, coupled with dangerous cold fronts and wicked wind chills that have plummeted below zero. However, that looks to be in the rearview mirror for the coming days, as a slightly warmer front is likely before the next bout of precipitation and cold.
Wednesday's high will be 43, before shooting up to around 50 on Thursday — balmy indeed considering things were down in the single digits recently.
But Thursday will bring with it rain, according to forecasters. "Waves of low pressure developing on that front will bring periods of rain to the region for the middle of this week," the National Weather Service's Mt. Holly branch said. "Some wintry (precipitation) is possible as it ends late this week."
