Phillies Game 3 Ticket Prices Up 68 Percent After World Series Rainout
The lowest priced ticket, according to at least one analysis, was likely enough to pay for a month's rent in many one-bedroom luxury condos.

PHILADELPHIA, PA — Ticket prices have soared once again ahead of Game 3 of the World Series, the game that was rained out Halloween night and the first World Series game in Philadelphia in 13 years.
The lowest priced tickets for Game 3 were $1,462 as of Tuesday afternoon, according to Gametime.co, a site that offers last minute tickets. The cheapest seat before Monday's scheduled game was $858, meaning Tuesday's prices mark a 68 percent increase.
The highest price ticket on the site for Tuesday is $4,535, which is actually a decrease from Monday night's $5,793.

On Stubhub, meanwhile, things looked slightly better. A single ticket for Tuesday night was left for $850, but the next lowest after that was $1,151, and then a few dozen between $1,200 and $1,500.

First pitch Tuesday night is 8:03 p.m. The rainout may have been hard on ticket prices, but it was probably a boon for the Phillies, who now get to trot out Ranger Suarez for Game 3 with the extra day of rest.
