PA Weather: Snow Forecast Changes For MLK Day, Weekend
The bitter cold has moved out of the region. Here's a look at what's coming next in Eastern Pennsylvania.
EASTERN PA — On the heels of the Arctic blast that hit the region on Monday and Tuesday, a fresh batch of snow could blanket southeastern Pennsylvania on Martin Luther King Day.
After some initial uncertainty, the three-day holiday weekend's forecast now shows strong chances of snow on Sunday and Monday, according to the National Weather Service.
Snow is now most likely late Sunday night into early Monday, before 3 a.m. There could also be rain, as the temperature will hover around freezing with a low of about 29. Chances of snow are 60 percent, the forecast states.

There remains uncertainty as to what accumulation the region may see.
Wednesday, meanwhile, is expected to provide a relative respite from the extreme cold. "Some milder air is working northward across much of the area, with the warmest air, as of 12 PM, located over the coastal plain," the National Weather Service's Mt. Holly, New Jersey office shared.
