Philomena (Iannelli) Flotte, 99, of Plymouth Meeting, died Tuesday, Feb. 22, at her residence.

Born Oct. 21, 1911, she was the daughter of the late Assunta (D'Alessandro) and Joseph A. Ianelli, Sr., and wife of the late Samuel C. Flotte.
Mrs. Flotte was employed for a number of years for Jacob Reed, manufacturer of uniforms where she was a machine operator. She also worked for the former Rambo & Reiger Co. She was a member and one of the founders of , where she was a member of the choir for over 60 years. At an early age, she sang at many church services and funeral masses.
Her family, especially her nieces and nephews, were extremely important to her. She was the oldest of 10 children and helped her parents raise her siblings and their extended families.
Survivors include siblings Joseph A Iannelli Jr., Angela Meoli, Anna Mirabile, Evelyn Vagnoni and Pat Iannelli, all of Plymouth Meeting. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and their families.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by siblings Carmen Iannelli, Erma Narcisco, Sue Verruni and Florence Greco.
The family will receive relatives and friends Saturday, Feb. 26, from 9 - 10:45 am, at the , Main and Walnut streets in Norristown. The funeral Mass will follow at , 407 E Main St., Norristown, at 11 a.m. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery on DeKalb Pike in East Norriton.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Montgomery Home Care & Hospice, 25 W. Fornance St., Norristown, PA 19401; Holy Saviour Church at the above address, or a charity of your choice.
