PRIMARK'S AMAZING FASHION, AMAZING PRICES ARRIVE AT KING OF PRUSSIA MALL

Leading European Fashion Retailer Continues Expansion in Northeast with Opening of Second U.S. Store on Nov. 25

KING OF PRUSSIA, PA. (Nov. 25, 2015) — Primark, one of Europe’s leading fashion retailers, today unveiled its King of Prussia Mall location, the brand’s second store in the Northeast following the September opening of its Boston flagship. Doors opened at 11 a.m. after a ribbon-cutting celebration led by Ambassador Anne Anderson, Irish Ambassador to the United States, in the presence of Primark executives, employees, local community officials and area business leaders. The new store opening brings the total number of Primark stores to 297 across ten countries.

“We are thrilled to launch our second U.S. store in such a premier retail location as the King of Prussia Mall,” said Paul Marchant, Primark Chief Executive. “Our first mall opening comes with added excitement as we approach the holiday shopping season with our offering of amazing fashion at amazing prices for all the family.”

With this opening, Primark brings the latest fashions, including womenswear, menswear, childrenswear and home goods, to one of the East Coast’s top shopping destinations, and creates 490 new regular jobs for the area.

Primark’s King of Prussia Mall store is located on the Plaza Lower Level and encompasses 80,700 sq. ft. of selling space. The store design offers an enhanced customer shopping experience with vibrant LED displays, comfortable lounge areas and multiple recharge stations. The spacious store includes 93 fitting rooms, 58 cash registers and eight customer service registers.

Primark’s King of Prussia Mall store hours are 9 a.m. – 10 p.m. Monday to Saturday and 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. Sunday. For the holidays, the store will offer special hours, opening 6pm – 11:59pm November 26th (Thanksgiving); 12:00am – 10:00pm November 27th; and 9 a.m. – 10 p.m. from November 28th to December 5th.

In addition to King of Prussia and Boston, Primark has announced plans for a further six stores across the Northeast. Upcoming stores include Danbury Fair (Danbury, Conn.), Willow Grove Mall (Willow Grove, Pa.), Freehold Raceway Mall (Freehold, N.J.), South Shore Plaza (Braintree, Mass.), Staten Island Mall (Staten Island, N.Y.) and Burlington Mall (Burlington, Mass.). Primark also opened its distribution center in Bethlehem, Pa. in September.
