Promoting Literacy In Norristown Schools

One local organization is doing their part to improve literacy in Norristown by providing elementary students with free dictionaries.

The Rotary Club of Norristown will be gifting Webster's Spanish-English dictionaries at Marshall Street Elementary School on Tuesday.

Each year, Rotary visits the borough's six elementary schools to tell students about their charitable work in local communities and to provide them with dictionaries.

They will visit Cole Manor Elementary on Wednesday, October 19.
