VALLEY FORGE, PA — Surveillance of a suspected prostitution ring at the Valley Forge Casino led to two arrests recently, police said Wednesday.

The incident occurred back on March 27 at around 10:15 a.m. as patrols were moving around the area of the hotel on 1210 First Avenue in Upper Merion.

Authorities had been tipped off about potential prostitution inside the hotel.

Police said that a woman who was advertising herself online was spotted exiting the hotel with two men, and they stopped them. The woman, it turned out, was also wanted for drug charges.

The woman gave a fake name, and when police tried to arrest her she resisted.

When she was eventually wrestled into custody police said they found crack cocaine and used syringes on her.

One of the men was released, while the other was taken into custody on a separate active drug warrant out of Philadelphia. He had similar drug paraphernalia on him, police said.

Both were booked at Montgomery County Correctional Facility. A preliminary hearing is forthcoming.
