Retired Norristown Police Officer Re-sentenced For Selling Drugs: DA
His sentence was reportedly harsher because as a law enforcement officer, he was held to a higher standard.

A retired Norristown police officer has been re-sentenced for selling drugs, according to the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office.
Jack Pennington, 70, was sentenced to 17 to 50 years in state prison, including credit for time served since his June 2012 arrest.
Pennington was originally arrested in June 2012 outside the Plymouth Meeting Mall for selling methamphetamine and prescription pills.
