Revitalized Business Park Named Moore Park KOP
The revamped "live-work-play" neighborhood in King of Prussia is being called Moore Park KOP.

KING OF PRUSSIA, PA — The revamped business park in King of Prussia has been named Moore Park KOP, officials announced this week.
The revitalization of the park, located off First Avenue and the surrounding area, began in September 2014 when it was rezoned by Upper Merion as a mixed-use district. The park is now home to 20,000 employees, 63,000 square feet of corporate meeting space, five hotels, Valley Forge Casino, and companies like Arkema, CSL Behring, GeoBlue, and more.
Several new initiatives are underway at the park, including a $60 million apartment complex, Park Square, that will begin leasing this spring.

Officials are also working on a pedestrian and cyclist friendly roadway resdesign project, and another apartment complex, Skye 750, which will feature 248 rooms, is now under construction.
"The transformation of the old King of Prussia business park is critical to ensure that King of Prussia is a premier location to conduct business," Greg Philips, Chair of the Upper Merion Board of Supervisors, said in a statement. "Due to a terrific mix of development and redevelopment projects, King of Prussia has become a vibrant locale for people to live and work. Providing the business park with a new name and brand is an important step in keeping Upper Merion competitive and poised for growth."

Moore Park is a reference to the Moore-Irwin House, a historic property located on the business park property that headquarters from General Muhlenberg during the Continental Army's 1777-78 encampment at Valley Forge.
Other initiatives underway there:
- The park will be served by the new King of Prussia SEPTA Rail, assuming that project continues to move forward.
- A proposed slip ramp would enable Turnpike motorists to exit immediately into the Park
- A 2.6 mile long "linear" park is underway, which would transform a length of lawns and connecting spaces
