LANSDALE, PA — Police have not given up finding justice for Michael Ewer, who was mysteriously killed at a Lansdale baseball field in 2005.
Tuesday marks the 15th anniversary of his death. Ewer's body was found by police on Thursday, Oct. 20, 2005 at 1:49 p.m. at Memorial Park. A $5,000 reward has been posted for information leading to an arrest and conviction, an increase over the initial $1,000 reward.
It's believed that Ewer, 49, was sleeping in a sleeping bag in the visitors dugout when he was attacked, based on the position of his body, according to the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office.
