"Ribstock" Reunites For Another Great Year of Peace, Love & Rock N' Roll!
Day-Long Music Event at Bridgeport Ribhouse To Benefit Bridgeport Little League & Eisenhower Middle School's Music Program
Attention music fans! Eight of the area’s hottest groups are banding together, once again, for the most-anticipated rock events of the season on Sunday, February 19 – “Ribstock 2017”.
Returning for the seventh consecutive year at the iconic Bridgeport Ribhouse (1049 Ford Street, Bridgeport), the all-day music fest will raise money for the Bridgeport Little League and organizers will be accepting gently used musical equipment to donate to Eisenhower Middle School’s Music Program.
The festivities kick off at 2 PM and will feature performances by some of the area’s best artists including: The Hot Sauce Junkies, The Fight Back Home, Skitty Show, The Sofa Kings, That Band, Broken Brothers, Side Arm (featuring special guests Paul Hammond and Paul Sinclair from Get The Led Out and Brian Quinn from Candlebox), and IV Stone.

According to organizers, “Ribstock” will be even bigger than ever this year with a new tented area added to the parking lot where sandwiches will be served and added seating will be provided.
“We are really excited about this year’s Ribstock,” said Melissa Navitsky, manager of the Bridgeport Ribhouse. “Not only do we have a brand new music lineup but we are also expanding the area for our guests. We hope this generates excitement and, therefore, a larger donation for our charities.”

“Ribstock” will be sponsored by the following local businesses: Rotation Records, axis Construction Management and Bauder Audio Systems. Rotation Records, located in Norristown, is a full service, state of the art recording studio and live entertainment organization. axis Construction Management, located in Conshohocken, PA, provides construction project management, general contracting, tenant improvement, design/build, and a host of related services to commercial and institutional clients throughout the Philadelphia region and along the East Coast.
Bauder Audio Systems, which is located in Horsham, provides a wide selection of audio and backline equipment as well as a full service staff of production, audio and backline technicians to major entertainment companies and venues.
Additionally, Proximo Sprits, the manufacturer of such high quality brands as Jose Cuervo, Three Olives Vodka, Bushmills and more, will also sponsor the event as well as donate its products.
This popular event was created by the Bridgeport Ribhouse staff, Philadelphia musicians Kevin Burk, Brian Quinn and Paul Hammond, sound engineer Dave Anderson, and dmk Publicity Owner Denise Kovalevich as a way to give back to the community.
A $10 entry fee is required for the event and specials will be offered throughout the day and evening.
