Off Road Vehicles, DJs Among Illegal Activity At Norristown Parks
Officials are reminding locals of the rules at public parks in Norristown after a handful of recent incidents.
NORRISTOWN, PA — Officials are reminding locals of the rules at public parks in Norristown after a handful of recent incidents.
No motorized vehicles, including off road vehicles, are allowed on grass or open spaces in the parks, the municipality said.
It comes after police said they would be cracking down on ATV activity around the area which had become a public safety issue.

Other reminders on park rules issued by Norristown this week include:
- No inflatables unless approved by Recreation Manager
- No propane
- No farm animals of any kind
- No tent is to exceed 10 feet x 10 feet
- No DJs unless approved by Recreation Manager
- No bonfires
Those who do not follow these rules could be kicked out of the parks and fined.
