King of Prussia Man Arrested For Child Rape: Cops

A King of Prussia man has been arrested after allegedly raping a child over a three-year period, according to authorities.

A King of Prussia man has been arrested for allegedly raping a child, the Lower Providence Police Department has announced.

Peter M. Sheronas, 51, of the 500 block of Stevens Drive, was arrested Wednesday and charged with rape of a child, statutory sexual assault, and involuntary sexual intercourse with a child, police said.

The underage victim told police in September that Sheronas had engaged in sexual relations with her over a three-year period.

The incidents occurred at a location in Lower Providence Township, police said.

Sheronas was arrested on October 19, and a preliminary hearing was held on November 2.

Sheronas remains in custody at the Montgomery County Correctional Facility in lieu of $750,000 bail.
