With this award, we hope to shine the spotlight on a deserving individual that doesn’t do what they do for the headlines or the attention, but is selflessly devoted to the cause of serving and improving their community.
As we turn the page on 2015, there are hundreds more options to name our person of the year. But we want to hear from you and see who you think it should be.

As the middle of the month approaches, we will create a poll with the individuals who have the highest number of nominations. The public will then be able to vote from that list of finalists.
Let us know in the comments or by email at justin.heinze@patch.com who you think should be awarded Phoenixville Patch’s Person of the Year honor. We’ll continue to take nominations until 11:59 p.m. Dec. 31, even after the finalists poll is published.
